The NIGERIA Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, yesterday, bitterly expressed their pain of the cajole and intimidation of two companies namely Tecon Oil Services and Seawolf Drilling Services in Port Harcourt, Rivers State as the have refused to resolve the payment of backlog of salaries and entitlements of workers. NUPENG wants to state that earlier ultimatum issued to the companies on these issues had long expired, and despite several government interventions, threatening to down tools nationwide without notice, so the union are waiting for directives from its National Secretariat to pull their members from work, they will put those word into action as stated by the President, Mr. Igwe Achese.
