The dreaded Badoo cult group has extended its gruesome killings of defenseless Nigerians to Ogun State, following the arrest of suspected members in Ogijo area of the state, weekend. The senate yesterday in Abuja, prevailed in the war between Wanikade and Wanihem communities of North Ukelle, in Yala Local Government Area in Cross River State, As the called on the Nigerian Army to intervene in the case, by containing the security situation until lasting peace is restored. What the Acting President Said Over The Warring Communities In Yala L.G.A Of Cross River State.

A statement by the Acting President’s Spokesman, Mr Laolu Akande, stated that acting President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo condemned the recent communal conflict in the area, and appealed to warring communities to embrace peace to enable government to find lasting solution to the crisis. The acting President further ordered security agencies to take urgent steps to avert further breakdown of law and order as well as also directing the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to assist the state government toward sending relief materials to affected communities. This was not the first time both communities clashed over issues of land ownership. The June 27 and June 29 clash appeared to be the most devastating, as it left the community deserted.
