Obubra L.G.A in Cross River State Raids, Kill And Burn Buildings In Ebonyi State - click for full story with photos

Breaking news emanate again as crossriverians repeats it's barbaric act as the attack the Ebonyi people.
It was very late on friday, when the people of Ijutun-Idoru in Obubura council area of Cross River State was allegedly accused of attacking the people of Izzi local government area of Ebonyi State over land boundary issues.
Addressing journalists yesterday at a location where they were taking refuge, the head of   Ofioji, Chief Nwobegu Mbam, narrated how his people were allegedly slaughtered.
“It was very late on Friday; we had gone to bed but suddenly a very terrifying sound was heard in our community and, in the ensuing confusion, we ran out only to see many houses on fire and that was when we knew that the people of Cross River have invaded our territory again. They were shooting our people without mercy; they burnt our houses and carted away our property. In raid the crossriverians killed not less than nine persons including a pregnant woman named Ukamaka Nwifuru and burnt down over 50 houses ”

The community is calling on the federal government to intervene in this insurgency and rebellious act that is been perpetrated by this crossriverians.

SUSPECTED pirates on Monday night, shot dead a woman and her son at a fishing camp along Ekologbene creek of Ayakoromo community, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. The remains of the victims identified as Mrs. Anetorofa Morkor and her son, Doutimi Asaba, were brought to the community in a speed boat.
